This summer, NCTA debuted a riveting short documentary film, Every Last Mile: The Untold Story of Connecting Rural America. The film spotlights the monumental effort being made by cable operators to bring internet access to America's most rural and remote places. Filmed on location in Alaska, Arizona, and Minnesota, the documentary showcases the dedication and perseverance of three construction crews as they overcome extreme conditions, challenging terrain and hidden obstacles as they connect rural communities.

The film was directed by Baltimore-based filmmaker Lee Morton, using a two-camera setup and a drone, allowing for an unobtrusive capture of the crew's work.
